Over the years Greg has worked with hundreds of different clients from around the world. Here are some interesting facts about Greg:
Greg was a magna cum laude graduate from University of Dayton with a degree in Management Information Systems and Minor in Computer Science.
Greg created groundbreaking social networking systems before anyone called it social networking. In the early 1990's, Greg lead the project to build one of the first corporate knowledge sharing systems for Accenture. This global, ground breaking project put in place a system where consultants from around the world could share their knowledge. This system is still being used today and the breakthrough principles of social knowledge sharing formed the foundation for its success.
Greg has helped all kinds of companies and professionals harness the power of social networking, including alternative medicine, real estate, construction, environmental engineering, telecommunications, and more. The culture of sharing is more important than the tools of sharing!
Greg lead the design effort for the manufacturing process that creates optical fiber at the one of the worlds largest optical fiber plants (optical fiber is the stuff that makes up the backbone of the internet). Did you know the process of creating optical fiber is more like creating steel than creating a computer chip?
Big efforts don' t scare him. Once Greg was responsible for 300 programmers working from China, the Philippines and North America.
At the same time, little changes make a big difference. Sometimes all that is needed is a series of small changes. Once Greg recommend a client to change one picture on their website (change a picture of a house into a picture of a computer mouse) and conversion rates went up 40%!
Culture and Psychology are Important - Greg has found that understanding the culture and psychology of social networking is more important than the tools that enable social networking. "Tools are tools, but it's understanding the psychology that will make you successful"
